Tymofiy Mylovanov is the Honorary President of Kyiv School of Economics (KSE).

He received his Master degree in Economics from the KSE in 1999. Tymofiy Mylovanov earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2004 and has taught at the University of Bonn, Penn State University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Pittsburgh.

His research on game theory, contract theory, and institutional design has been published in major international academic journals like the Review of Economic Studies and the Journal of Economic Theory.

Tymofiy Mylovanov is a co-founder of VoxUkraine, a group of global economists working on policy problems in Ukraine and has been a member of the academic advisory board of the Kyiv School of Economics for several years.

In July 2016, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine elected Tymofiy Mylovanov to the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). Since October 2016, Tymofiy Mylovanov has held a position of the Deputy Chairman of Council of the National Bank of Ukraine.
